It starts with the fundamentals of composition and perspective, moving towards lighting and texturing techniques, ideal for beginners looking to immerse themselves in the creation of unique landscapes and scenarios for video games.

Lectures

Practicing theory is not just a complement, but the heart of your learning. Our hands-on approach is designed to consolidate your learning, boost your creativity and hone your technical skills, preparing you to excel in the industry.

Collaboration with incubator teams

At the end of the bootcamp, you will have the option to apply the theory learned in live projects and collaborate in one of the teams of our incubator. This experience will provide you with an understanding of the dynamics of teamwork, problem-solving, and business project development.

Bootcamp Final Project

Throughout the bootcamp, a final project will be carried out with mentored follow-up so that when you complete it you will have a project that will serve as a portfolio for the job search.

Careers

You will have access to 40 hours dedicated to professional careers, where we will teach you how to define and create a good portfolio and curriculum based on your specialty. In addition, we will provide you with guidance to professionally communicate your CV profile and highlight all your strengths effectively, thus preparing you to face the selection processes with more tools.

Program

We will delve into the fascinating world of concept art. We’ll explore its history and its crucial role in the entertainment industry, ranging from video games to film and animation. In addition, we will dive into the basic digital tools used, such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate or Clip Studio Paint. We will learn about composition, perspective, and lighting values through the study of masterpieces, allowing us to understand the key fundamentals of creating impactful and visually appealing conceptual art.

We will learn the fundamentals of digital drawing and painting. We will explore basic drawing techniques, addressing shapes, perspective and composition. Then, we’ll dive into digital painting, where we’ll learn about brushes, layers, and selection tools. In addition, we will delve into the theory of color and light, understanding concepts such as primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Finally, we will explore environmental narrative, using composition and worldbuilding to tell stories, and we will analyze the impact of lighting and shading in creating suggestive and captivating atmospheres.

We will explore Visual Development, where we will design with imagination and cohesion to create visually appealing worlds. Then, we’ll dive into Textures and Materials, learning how to render surfaces such as stone, metal, and water, as well as associated visual effects. We will move towards Advanced Lighting Techniques, exploring the creation of dramatic, ambient lighting and light effects to give depth and emotion to our scenes. Finally, we’ll dive into Advanced Perspective and Composition, where we’ll master advanced 3D perspective techniques and explore the power of thumbnailing and quick sketches for idea generation.

We will see the Science Fiction Environments, where we will learn how to design futuristic and technological landscapes that evoke distant and advanced worlds. Then, we will enter Fantasy Environments, where we will bring to life magical worlds full of extraordinary creatures and enchanted landscapes. Finally, we will dive into Urban Environments and Architecture, where we will hone our skills in designing cities from historical to contemporary eras, exploring how architecture defines the identity of a place and its people.

We will learn how to prepare concept art for production, turning ideas into images that guide development. Then, we will dive into “Individual Project Development”, collaborating with environment artists and 3D modeling to bring our projects to life. We will conceptualize and develop a complete environment project, applying the skills acquired to create visually captivating and cohesive worlds.

We will refine environment projects through continuous review and improvement. Then, we will select and present our works. This process will allow us to showcase our progress and skills, highlighting our strengths as concept artists and establishing a strong presence in the industry.
