Level Up is a hub for videogame developers that counts with the collaboration of great professionals of the sector within our team and the support of the Barcelona City Council.
Everything we create and organize is aimed at creating qualified professionals to work in video game studios and companies as well as helping to consolidate new video game studios through our Pre-incubation Program.
We are an initiative created by professionals who have spent years in the video game industry, training and entrepreneurship.
We know the needs, problems and opportunities of each sector from the point of view of students, developers as well as entrepreneurs and large companies looking for talent.
Thanks to what I learned in the Advanced Unity Bootcamp, I got a better job than the one I had before.
It was possible thanks to you, and honestly, I am very happy with this new position.
You are amazing.
The Level Design Bootcamp is one of the most enriching and interesting courses I’ve taken on video games, partly because it’s a specialization where specific training is hard to find. Additionally, being able to do it online from anywhere is a strong advantage.
It’s not the typical academy where you pay for a course and they forget about you. They are there for you and make sure the course truly meets the expectations you had.
It’s clear that this is an academy built by passionate video game enthusiasts who are true industry professionals.
Coming from another field like architecture, I’ve been able to make a huge leap in my knowledge of level design and the tools for it, allowing me to switch careers to become a professional Level Designer.
They are truly a springboard into the industry.
It’s the only specialized education in level design in Spain. I graduated in video games and didn’t want to go through a two-year “game design” master’s at my university, likely covering things I already knew and barely touching on level design.
You managed to encapsulate a very comprehensive curriculum in six months, with fantastic instructors.
The Advanced Video Game Programming Bootcamp with Unity has been a true level-up in approaching project architecture. Add to that the professional and human quality of the teaching and management team, and you've got the cherry on top.
At Level Up, I found the support I needed to embark on this adventure of starting a game development business. With their experience and approachability, they helped me define myself as a professional, creating bonds that I hope will last for many years.
Their involvement with pre-incubated teams goes beyond the professional, showing a strong commitment to teaching, guiding, and building a community.
Level Up has supported the professionalization of Fragments of Child, a project that started as a prototype in Dreams and has become an award-winning video game, with a fantastic team behind it.
An outstanding experience for our studio. The support and guidance from the mentors, the business-oriented advice, and the dedication of the program directors have made our time in the Pre-incubation program essential for the consolidation and growth of Infinite Thread Games. Indispensable.
The closeness and support received from the mentoring team are invaluable. Even after finishing our time in the incubator, we still keep in touch and have the support of several of them to this day.
Roger, Sara, and the mentors at Level Up are serious and experienced professionals who have not only guided us in our first steps in the industry but have done so with care, commitment, and responsibility. They are exceptional because they accompany you with a warm willingness to build community and family among the teams.
Highly recommended.
I had already worked with Unity before, but after completing the Advanced Video Game Programming Bootcamp with Unity, I can see that my code is much cleaner and more organized. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet people in the industry who have taught me great values.
