Roger Montserrat
With more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Roger Montserrat leads as CEO and founder both Level Up (Game Dev Hub) and Codiwans. His outstanding professional career includes collaborations with internationally renowned companies, such as the BBC, Aardman, Microsoft and Nokia. Currently, his most significant contribution is at Level Up, where he heads the Pre-incubation Program and is at the forefront of all initiatives, from game jams to the podcast and Pitch&Match meetings. In addition, he shares his knowledge as a video game design teacher at Level Up and actively collaborates as a video game designer in various projects. At Codiwans, Roger has demonstrated his ability to lead the company specialising in entertainment applications, working with clients such as La Caixa, Cinesa, ColaCao, Pritt and Gas Natural. Founder and leader of Thousand Gears, a video game studio that attracted foreign investment, he participated in a startup acceleration program in Finland, establishing an extensive network of contacts in the sector. Standing out as a finalist in international events such as the Big Indie Pitch, Roger Montserrat has left a prominent mark on the video game development industry, especially through his dedication and experience at Level Up.
Sara Salmerón
Sara Salmerón is a highly experienced professional and co-manager at Level Up [Game Dev Hub]. With more than 10 years of experience in the field of business development, design and user experience, Sara deploys her skills in marketing and relationship management with collaborating institutions. He has played a fundamental role in the management and coordination of activities in collaboration with entities such as Barcelona City Council, national universities and software companies in the sector.
In addition, Sara has held various roles at Codiwans, a company specializing in technology, gaming, and innovation for mobile devices. For more than 12 years, he has been involved in the development of his own products, such as video games and mobile applications, as well as in projects contracted by other companies and agencies.
Saverio Caporusso
Saverio Caporusso is CEO and game designer at Troglobytes Games, a leading indie studio based in Barcelona. With extensive experience in the creation of independent games, he has released several titles to the market, but his biggest success came with Hyperparasite, a game published on all platforms and acclaimed as the best indie game of the year by Forbes magazine. In addition, Saverio has had the opportunity to publish some of his games in physical format. He is distinguished by his ability to communicate and establish long-lasting relationships with multiple international publishers. Throughout the years, he has maintained a fluid and active communication, which has given him a deep knowledge and understanding of the publishers' needs. Thanks to this, he has created videogames specifically designed for the most interesting niches in the sector, taking into account their sales potential. In addition, his ability to close investment agreements with international publishers stands out.
Óscar Crego
Oscar Crego, currently serving as Lead Game Designer at Melbot, is known for his exceptional ability to make the most of game mechanics, creating elegant and well-designed playable spaces. His skills are not limited to design alone, as he also possesses strong tool programming skills, enjoying creating utilities to build levels more efficiently. In his role as Lead Game Designer at Melbot, Oscar is at the forefront of developing an innovative and lighthearted project. His experience in level design spans across several previous roles, such as Level Designer at Nomada Studio, where he contributed to the success of "Gris", a worldwide award-winning video game, and at Herobeat Studios, where he participated in the development of the acclaimed game "Endling". In addition to his work in the industry, Oscar shares his expertise as a level design instructor and mentor at Level Up [Game Dev. Hub], where he has taught classes and masterclasses, and provided guidance to student-created level design projects. With a solid background in renowned companies and a focus on game design and creation, Oscar Crego proves to be a versatile and passionate professional, contributing significantly to the world of game design.
Enrique José Sainz
Enrique José Sainz is a developer and teacher focused on the field of video games. Throughout his career, he has worked in several companies, participating in projects ranging from AAA productions to gaming. Mainly, he works as a programmer, but he has also found his space as a teacher. In his spare time, he dedicates himself to the creation of independent games. Currently, he leads teams in two multidisciplinary projects, involving 15 people, some of whom were his former students. Enrique's philosophy focuses on the pursuit of excellence and knowledge as ways to achieve success. He works to transmit this idea to his students and colleagues, believing in the importance of passion and constant learning in the dynamic world of videogames.
Francisco Jesús Ruiz
Francisco Jesús Ruiz is an experienced video game programmer with outstanding skills in C++ and C#, he has led teams and contributed to the success of companies such as Madbox, where he is currently Lead Game Developer.
He creates his own video games under the name GumGunGames since 2009, with numerous games published on Google Play, Apple App Store and itch.io.
With more than 15 years of experience, he has worked in leading companies such as Scopely, King and Social Point, excelling in the development of tools, integration of services and performance optimization in projects with technologies such as Unity3D, C++ and Python.
Marc Obiols
Marc Obiols, with an outstanding career in the video game industry, currently works as a Level Artist at Ubisoft Barcelona. His experience includes key roles, such as Texture Artist in "Hyper Scape", bringing his skills in the creation of virtual environments. Previously, he was Lead Environment & Technical Artist at SKARA - The blade remains, where he played a crucial role in the design and development of virtual environments. He also worked as Environment & Material Artist at Elite 3D, participating in notable projects, such as Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 'Infinite Warfare', where he demonstrated his expertise in Procedural PBR Material with Substance Designer. Marc is recognized for his skills in creating virtual environments and his experience in high profile projects. His active collaboration with Level Up demonstrates his commitment to the video game developer community.
Pau Elias
Pau Elias, partner and leader at Chloroplast Games, plays a crucial role in the company's success. In addition, he collaborates with Level Up, contributing his experience as a Technical Artist and his strategic vision. With more than 13 years as Senior Technical Art Director and Senior Producer, Pau has demonstrated outstanding skills in team and project management, as well as in the development of innovative methodologies.

Marc Boulesteix
Marc Boulesteix is a seasoned production, project management and marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in the video game industry. He currently serves as Senior Associate Producer at Digital Legends (Activision). In addition, he has provided consulting and coaching services in marketing and production for video game studios such as Atomic Kraken and Zerouno Games. His background includes roles as producer and marketing director, where he has managed projects, developed marketing strategies and established relationships with the gaming community and press. Marc has been involved in the development of notable games such as "A Tale of Paper", "Monster Prom", "Slice Back", "Skara - The Blade Remains Limited" and others. His experience encompasses the management of multidisciplinary teams, implementation of agile methodologies such as Scrum, market analysis and marketing strategies. Currently, he works at Digital Legends, a well-known company of successful mobile franchises such as Afterpulse, Respawnables, Battlefield, Kroll and One. In addition, in recent years he has provided production, marketing and investment advice to leading indie studios in Barcelona such as Beautiful Glitch, Herobeat Studios, Open House Games and SandBloom, closing publishing or investment deals.
Alex Roca
Alex Roca is the CEO and Creative Director of Anarkade. He has attended as a speaker at various universities and events related to the video game industry. With over 15 years of experience, Alex has played various roles, especially in the field of communication, in more than 40 published video games, accumulating several awards in his career. It is worth mentioning his participation in the team that internationally promoted Microjocs, one of the first videogame studios in Barcelona that achieved outstanding sales successes. This achievement led to Microjocs being acquired by Digital Chocolate, an international video game company founded by Trip Hawkins, also founder of Electronic Arts. At Digital Chocolate, Alex contributed to the success of the company's IPs, taking them to the top 5 markets for Java mobile games and browser games on platforms such as Facebook and Apple's AppStore. This achievement positioned the company as the first in Spain to reach the number 1 spot worldwide in the AppStore. Subsequently, the studio Digital Chocolate Barcelona was acquired by Ubisoft, becoming the current Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile, where Alex continued working for several years.
Alejandro Orpi
Alex Orpi is an experienced game programmer with more than 7 years of experience in commercial projects using C# and C++, working with Unity and Unreal Engine. Currently, he is a Software Engineer at The Multiplayer Group (MPG). Previously, he held key roles at Herobeat Studios and Limitless Games. At Herobeat Studios, Alex contributed significantly to the development of the BAFTA award-winning video game Endling, a finalist in the Game of the Year category. At Limitless Games, he worked as a Game Programmer, excelling in areas such as gameplay networking, skills, user interface and visual effects. In addition to his achievements in game development, Alex actively collaborates with Level Up, demonstrating his commitment to the game development community. His technical expertise and participation in recognized projects position him as a valuable professional in the field of video game development.
Vicente Andrés Quesada
Vicente Andrés Quesada works as a videogame developer, with a main focus on design. He has participated in five Spanish video games, including Effie (Inverge Studios, 2019), where he assumed the role of Designer. His experience also includes contributions as Designer on other titles such as Mad Line (Inverge Studios, 2017), Hyper Switch (Inverge Studios, 2017) and Become a Legend: Dungeon Quest (Inverge Studios, 2017). In addition to his work on individual projects, Vicente collaborates with Level Up [Game Dev Hub], highlighting his involvement in the video game developer community. His pragmatic approach and design experience place him as a solid professional in the game development industry.

Jordi Gutierrez
Jordi Gutiérrez is an audio director, sound designer and composer with a solid experience in the industry. He specializes in the implementation of audio for video games through tools such as FMOD, Wwise and Unity 3D. With more than 7 years of experience in sound creation and music composition for video games, as well as more than 8 years of experience in live sound and audio post-production in the audiovisual industry, Jordi demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge in various aspects of the sound field. His role as a sound engineer in post-production involves the editing, design and mixing of the audio section for audiovisual multimedia content, consolidating his position as an experienced professional in his field.
Alejandro Garcia
Alejandro Garcia is an experienced Software Engineer with 7 years of experience, with a strong focus on video game development and solid skills in C++ and Python programming languages. He is currently part of the People Can Fly Studio team as a Senior Engine Programmer, contributing his expertise to the exciting world of game development. In his previous career, Alex has made his mark on several game engines for AAA titles, such as "Tom Clancy's: The Division 2", "Starlink: Battle for Atlas" and "Tom Clancy's: The Division". He has also contributed his talents to independent games at other companies, co-founding Moon Factory Studios and serving as Lead Game Programmer. In this role, they developed and released the groundbreaking PlayStation 4 game, "Rolling Bob", which won the 2015 Most Innovative PS4 Game award from Sony Spain. Currently, "Rolling Bob" is available at the PS Store and GAME stores in Spain. Passionate about his work, Alex especially enjoys solving interesting and difficult programming challenges, excelling in game engine development. In addition, he has dedicated free time to the development of a 3D game engine called "Kobra", integrating C++ and Python, and presenting it as his bachelor thesis at the EuroPython congress. With his experience and enthusiasm, Alex contributes significantly to the People Can Fly Studio team, taking his expertise to new horizons in game development.

He has a great versatility and collaborates as a designer in Vagalume, one of the teams of the incubator, contributing with his creativity and skills. In addition, you will find him sometimes as a presenter, coordinator or collaborator in many of the activities we organize such as the Podcast, Demo Days, Game Jam, etc...
David Font
David Font, known artistically as"synchrnzr", is a leading professional in the world of sound and music for video games with a career that spans since 1996. His dedication and experience in this field have made him a reference both as a composer and developer. Since 2004, David has not only excelled in the creation of audio for video games, but has also shared his knowledge by teaching this discipline. In 2008, he made the leap to freelance work, establishing himself as an expert in interactive sound design, interactive music and programming. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various companies from different countries, leaving his sonic imprint on a wide variety of projects. Some of his notable works include contributions as Sound Designer in "Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story" by Tequila Works, as well as his role as Sound Designer in "PJ Masks: Power Heroes - Mighty Alliance" by Petoons Studio and "Curse Of The Sea Rats" by Petoons Studio. In addition, he has contributed his talent and experience as a mentor in Cupra's "CUPRA Gamified Car" project. His diversity in roles ranging from composer to sound designer is reflected in his participation in projects such as "Ludo," "Toque CEPSA," "Dragon Fruit," "Mugs & Bugs," "Snake Mice Hunter," among others, demonstrating his versatility and mastery in each production.
Albert Rebollo
Albert Rebollo works as Senior 3D Environment Artist at Melbot Studios. His aversion to routine drives him to constantly learn and embark on new projects. At Lince Works, he led the art department. Parallel to his game dev activities, he is also dedicated to training and mentoring in the various activities organized by Level Up, demonstrating his passion for sharing knowledge and leading with creativity.
Christian Muñoz
Christian Muñoz is an outstanding 3D/2D animation professional with a solid experience in various disciplines, including 3D/2D rigging, digital sculpting, retopology, texturing and lowpoly modeling. His dedication and skills have been consolidated over the years, contributing significantly to the world of animation. Christian currently works at Viral Studios and previously at Mapa Studios, Atresmedia, Zerouno Games, Gone Mad Studios, and Voilà Producciones, among others. In addition, Christian has shared his experience and knowledge as a mentor in the different initiatives of Level Up.
Adrià Najar Vegara
Adrià Najar started in the videogame industry in 2001 as a Concept Artist. He immediately learned 3D modeling software and was in charge of creating environments and characters in several titles such as Tokyo Cop, Hero of Sparta or Avatar (IOS) - Gaelco s.a - Gameloft Barcelona. Over the years and the experience gained, he began to lead small art teams for social games such as New in Town, Hungry Dragon, Skara the Blade Remains - DigitalChocolate - Ubisoft Barcelona - 8-Bits Studio - Omnidrone - Scopely. He is currently developing a personal project for Netflix/HBO/AmazonVideo. He loves commercial products that can be expanded to movies, merchandising, video games, action figures, etc.

At JanduSoft S.L., Jon leads the design of characters, environments and interfaces, in addition to being in charge of animations for cinematics. Joseba Alexander, currently in the role of Senior Concept Artist at Smilegate Barcelona, is an outstanding digital artist with a solid experience in the videogame industry. His focus is on concept art, standing out for his contribution in AAA projects. With a diverse background, Joseba has left his mark on iconic projects such as Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" and "Watch Dogs", as well as film productions such as "30 Coins" (HBO) and "Ender's Game" (23Lunes).
