YES!

Our pre-incubation program is completely online, production monitoring sessions, mentoring, training, pitching, interviews with professionals in the sector are 100% online.

We use Zoom to record live streams and archive all of our video sessions within Our Online Campus for your review and reference.

We also use the Confluence platform as a documentary repository where we store almost all the transcripts of the mentoring, files, templates, recommended models for each task and in general all the Know-How of the team of mentors and teachers of Level Up as well as the recommendations and insights obtained by the participants of previous editions.

No, at the moment only developers with a residence permit from Spain or Spanish nationality can participate in our program.

It is not mandatory but highly recommended. It will be considered highly positive to have 4 roles that can be fully dedicated to these functions:

  • Production
  • Design
  • Programming
  • Art

It is not mandatory to incorporate a company at the end of the program.

Level Up will encourage and help teams that pass the 50% audit of the program so that they are aware of the possibilities, requirements and good practices to do so. A binding partner agreement will be made between the members of the team, monitoring and planning so that the team ends up constituting its studio and making a medium-long term business plan. This shareholders’ agreement will serve to lay a solid and reliable legal foundation in case the team finally decides to incorporate as a company whenever it wishes.

Yes, it is possible.

It also depends on the project, the opinions of the mentoring team may recommend not doing it. Depending on the values of the game that the team wishes to make, we can recommend self-publishing, but it must be viable and feasible to be able to publish the project with its own resources and look for viable alternatives for PR, Marketing, Communication and Distribution actions.

Yes, it is possible. The necessary legal documentation to justify such assignment of exploitation rights must be submitted and written approval must be received from Level Up’s team of legal advisors before starting the program.

Yes, but by accepting the terms and conditions of the program, it will oblige the beneficiary company to grant 10% of its total shares to Level Up without disbursement to Level Up.

Any firm constituted as a company may also apply for the program by registering in the program the natural persons who are going to participate, whether they are partners, workers or external collaborators of said firm.

The studio must have 100% of the intellectual property of the video game that is submitted to the program.

The legal business entity that owns the intellectual property of the project presented must register and accept the same rules of the program.

It is not necessary for the members to have legally constituted any company, nor to have an employment or commercial relationship contract.

Groups of individuals may be presented who, by accepting the bases of the Level Up program, will accept a private agreement between all interested parties.

It depends on the rest of the team members, if all members do not have full-time availability to participate in the program, they will not add the same volume of points in the selection panel. The minimum requirement is to have at least one member with full-time availability and the rest of the members with part-time availability.

To achieve effective results over the 10-month duration of the program, we recommend having at least 1-6 team members available part-time.

We accept documentation in Spanish, Catalan or English. We recommend that participants submit and prepare their documentation in English in order to search for publishing or foreign investment.
