🧭 Design levels that understand themselves

In this free masterclass, Samuel Cohen, Senior Level Designer and Game Designer, will show you how to apply UX principles to level design to improve player navigation and orientation. Through an approach based on human perception and behavior, you’ll discover how to design spaces that understand themselves, without the need for arrows, invasive maps, or constant tutorials.

You’ll discover how to use space as a language to:
🔹 Guide the player through composition, geometry and visual hierarchy.
🔹 Create clear and consistent conventions within a level.
🔹 Reduce confusion and frustration during the scan.
🔹 Design readable routes without sacrificing freedom or challenge.

We’ll work by analyzing what design decisions make a level easy to read and walk through.

👉 If you want to improve the clarity of your levels, guide the player without breaking immersion and design spaces that communicate by themselves, this masterclass is for you.
