LVL UP 9×01 – Internationalization of Video Games and Studios
In this episode we discuss in depth all the relevant aspects that influence the international vision of our projects. The importance of planning at a global level, understanding the markets in which we want to publish, stakeholders with whom we are going to have to negotiate according to the countries, agents, media. How to deal with the problems of studio and video game visibility, negotiable conditions with publishers, distribution of tasks and commitments with the various actors, awareness management according to the project life cycle, player communities and many more topics. It is an episode in which we have the fantastic vision of: – Pere Rius (COO & Executive Producer at Lince Works)
– Alexis Corominas (General Manager at Piccolo Studio). In both cases, Pere and Alexis share with us their own super interesting experiences associated with two great projects: Aragami and Arise: A Simple Story, from very different perspectives due to the production and investment formula chosen by each studio. An episode in which the entire section of international digital distribution, localization, cultural restrictions, key points, etc. is reviewed… You can’t miss it! The episode consists of 3 parts:
– Choice of markets, visibility and constraints
– Internationalization actions during production
– International launch of the video game Pere Rius (@pereriusc), Alexis Corominas (@Piccolo_Studio), Ignasi Rivero (@ignasi_rivero), Katia Sumalla (@CaterinaSumalla) and Roger Montserrat (@rogermontserrat) participate in this program.
