Infinite Thread Games presents Hidalgo: A game inspired by Don Quixote that seeks support on Kickstarter

At Infinite Thread Games, one of the teams in our incubator, they are working on a unique project that promises to captivate both video game fans and lovers of classic literature. Its next release, Hidalgo, is an interactive adventure inspired by Don Quixote de la Mancha that seeks to bring Cervantes’ masterpiece to new generations of players.

Hidalgo combines exploration, puzzle-solving and a double narrative that intertwines the most memorable scenes of Don Quixote with the story of a family that rediscovers their bond through play. With handmade art that recreates the world as if it were a puppet and model theater, Infinite Thread Games has created an experience that aligns with the “wholesome games” current, conveying warmth and hope.

But to make this ambitious proposal a reality, the studio needs the support of the community. In October, they will launch a Kickstarter campaign, with the aim of financing the development and expanding the game’s functionalities, including a cooperative mode. The launch of Hidalgo is scheduled for the summer of 2025.
