Level Up opens its registrations for the 6th Edition of its 2026 pre-incubation program for new video game creators

Level Up [Game Dev Hub], recognized for its pre-incubation program for independent video game studios, is proud to announce the opening of registrations for its sixth edition. In a landscape where supporting young entrepreneurship and the indie sector is essential, Level Up reaffirms its commitment to providing an accessible path for those looking to enter the digital entertainment industry, navigating the challenges and high competitiveness of modern development.

Over the last five editions, Level Up has supported 28 emerging teams, contributing to the creation of 9 active companies and 16 projects currently in development. Furthermore, our studios and projects have secured €600,000 in investment, highlighting the program’s impact on fostering talent in this demanding field. The sixth edition offers participants an invaluable opportunity to immerse themselves in a collaborative environment, receiving mentorship from industry experts and accessing essential resources for development and marketing.

What’s New for the 2026 Edition:

• 2 Days of Playtesting and Online “Pitch & Match”: Two days dedicated exclusively to playtesting, providing teams with valuable feedback, alongside pitching rounds with mentors and potential collaborators interested in joining the projects.

• Professional Access to BCN GAME FEST (Indie Dev Day Barcelona): Participants will gain entry to the most relevant independent video game event in Southern Europe, including the Online Demo Day, where graduates can present their games to the general public and investors.

• Networking and Growth: Level Up offers the opportunity to participate in conferences, workshops, and pitching sessions in Barcelona, connecting beneficiaries with key figures in the national and international industry.

The pre-incubation program will begin between April and May 2026, running for nine months until December. Please note that certain online events, such as the program’s Demo Day and the final Pitch & Match session, will take place in Q1 2027.
