Chronicle of the SAGA Barcelona Game Fest 2026 Our visit to the fair!

On October 9, 10 and 11 we had the opportunity to attend the birth of SAGA Barcelona Game Fest 2026. From the union of SAGA Saló del Gaming, RetroBarcelona and BCN GameFest (formerly known as IndieDevDay) an event is created that brings together, for three days at the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, the pure love for video game development.
With a strong commitment to local development, SAGA Barcelona Game Fest has a clear international vision to publicize national talent being one of the largest indie events in southern Europe.

The fair was full of presentations by leaders in the sector, tournaments, talks between developers, artists, retro area, arcades, etc… More than 1,500 networking sessions were held with publishers and there were 160 indie studios that presented their projects to make them known to the more than 21,000 visitors who were at the event.

Level Up attended as sponsors and exhibitors, showing our work in training and supporting new video game talents. It was a perfect opportunity to present the projects of our 2026 pre-incubation program and discover new proposals that are emerging in the indie industry.
This year we were accompanied by 6 projects at our Stand and we had the opportunity to meet several of our veterans of the program at the fair and learn first-hand how their steps in the development sector are going.

In the following video we show you, in interview format, the progress of these projects both from the 2026 pre-incubation program and veterans who attended the fair. You have their networks below to follow them and not miss any of their news.
✨ Enjoy discovering them as much as we enjoy accompanying them.
