GameDev Speed Dating Event 2025 Completed! 🤝

Last week we ended GameDev Speed Dating 2025, an online event that we organized on our Discord with a clear objective: to facilitate direct and agile meetings between video game development professionals.

The format was designed to bring together, in brief 1-on-1 meetings, very diverse profiles of the industry; programmers, artists, designers, musicians and other creators, both to expand their network of contacts and to form teams and explore possible collaborations in new projects.

A welcome that exceeded our expectations

Something that surprised us very pleasantly was the very high demand and number of registrations, reaching more than 100 registered participants. We had a very active participation of both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking profiles, which led us to organize the event bilingually (ES/EN) to facilitate contact between developers from different countries.

Since the duration of the event depended directly on the number of people active in the rounds, and to maintain a smooth and manageable experience for everyone, we decided to split the event into two dates.
The first took place on December 4, and a second session was held on December 11, designed especially for those who could not access due to capacity or registered later.

Real networking, real conversations

Between the two days, more than 622 1-on-1 conversations were held between developers, both in Spanish and English. These quick rounds allowed for direct, dynamic and very focused networking, giving the opportunity to meet diverse talent and complementary profiles within the video game industry.

Positive feedback and next steps

We are especially happy with the feedback received from the attendees, who highlighted the dynamics of the event and shared very constructive comments to continue improving it. Undoubtedly, the good reception encourages us to repeat and evolve this format in future editions.
