David Rodriguez

David Rodríguez is an engineer with extensive experience working for renowned companies such as Deutsche-Bank, NH Hoteles, CB Richard Ellis, IT-Deusto, Gamesa and Hotusa. Currently, he is exclusively dedicated to projects that combine art, narrative, interactivity, game mechanics and education. As Founder of Chiquimedia, David creates positive applications for children, promoting imagination, community play, child welfare and a responsible use of technology, without advertising or violence, encouraging creativity and cooperation. He has also collaborated with Team Ugly games, a videogame studio incubated at Game BCN. Passionate about videogames, David has created Bombarama as part of his final project in the Advanced Videogame Programming Bootcamp with Unity at Level Up. Bombarama is a tribute to local multiplayer games like Bomberman or Butasan, with a fun game mechanic based on colors. In his free time, he enjoys participating and organizing game jams, as well as collaborating with the Meetup Barcelona Game Creators.
